Course Description
A basic introduction to the various facets of church ministry. Practical ideas for formation, organization, and implementation in local church ministries. The church sacraments of weddings, communion, baptisms and funerals will also be discussed.

Assignment
(If You Desire To Get Bible College Credit For This Class)
There are several assignments for this class. Each one worth 20 points when the test is taken.
1. Ministry Involvement
The student must volunteer in a ministry of their local church for 2 hours. This ministry should be in an area that interests the student for possible future ministry. (20 pts)
2. Interview
The student is to interview someone who has been serving in local church ministry for at least 10 years. This may be someone in full-time vocational ministry, or it may be someone who serves as a volunteer. The following questions are to be asked. (20 pts)
* What is the greatest joy you have found in ministry?
* What is the greatest frustration in ministry?
* How would you have done things differently in your past ministry involvement?
* Do you feel like you are serving in your area of giftedness? Why or why not?
* What are your responsibilities?
* How can I pray for you?
3. Read Acts Chapter 2 (20 pts)
4. Watch or listen to your choice of a total of 5 podcasts from any or all of the following: (20pts)

5. Other questions on the test will be worth the last 20 points
